Why I Started This Website

Updated: 5 days ago

I’ve been sitting on this idea for a long time. I even bought a domain for a different site once, but it sat dormant until the ownership ran out. The concept, the timing—it never felt quite right, until now.

On Valentine’s Day this year, I discovered that my boyfriend of five years was emotionally cheating on me. When I confronted him, he made promises he didn’t keep. It’s now the end of May, and unfortunately, the infidelity continued.

I’m looking to separate myself from him, and that means I need to regain my financial independence. This website is part of that journey—not just for me, but for others who want to reclaim their independence as well.

My Story: The Journey Leading Up to This

I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. When I brought the truth forward—when I needed love, protection, and belief from my parents—they turned me away. They didn’t believe me. They chose denial over support.

That moment changed everything.

Without a foundation of safety or trust, I struggled to form healthy relationships. I found myself repeating harmful patterns, entering one abusive relationship after another. Each time, I lost more of myself. Each time, I had to fight to rebuild who I was.

Eventually, I was diagnosed with complex PTSD and borderline personality disorder—conditions that helped explain the deep disconnect I often felt from myself and others.

Being neurodivergent in a world that doesn’t always make space for difference, I’ve been misunderstood, ostracized, and even vilified.

But these experiences—everything I’ve survived—have become my strength.

I’ve learned how to find confidence in the chaos. How to build identity after it’s been shattered. How to choose compassion for myself and others. And how to rise, even when the world has tried to keep me down.

Why This Website Matters

This website is more than just a personal project—it’s a declaration of independence and a beacon of hope.

I’m using this space to rebuild my financial independence by offering unique services that reflect my passions and skills. But beyond that, this blog is a sanctuary for anyone who feels broken, overlooked, or without hope.

Here, you won’t find judgment or empty platitudes. Instead, you’ll find encouragement to get to know yourself deeply and awaken your soul’s power.

This site is for everybody, but especially for those who have been downtrodden by life’s hardships—those who have been told there’s no hope left.

I want this to be a place where healing begins, strength grows, and new paths are forged. Together, we’ll reclaim what was lost and build something real—something lasting.

What’s Next?

Moving forward, you can expect to find personal insights and reflections from me—thoughts that blend science, metaphysics, and spirituality. It’s a journey of exploring the seen and unseen, the logical and the mystical, all woven together in ways that make sense for everyday life.

My blog is still a work in progress, and the website is under construction. I invite you to check back regularly—aiming to post new content weekly as things evolve.

Soon, I’ll be setting up socials and other ways for us to connect, but for now, if you want to reach out directly, feel free to email me at snowpanther@thecosmicatfish.com.

I hope you’ll continue to join me here as we dive into conversations and walk this path of discovery together.
